Description

House Tully is one of the Great Houses of Westeros, and they are based in the region known as the Riverlands. Their ancestral seat is Riverrun, a formidable castle that overlooks the Red Fork of the Trident River.

The Tullys are an ancient and proud house, whose origins are said to date back to the Age of Heroes. According to legend, their ancestor, Ser Axel Tully, rode into battle on the back of a giant catfish and saved the Riverlands from invasion by the Ironborn.

Over the centuries, House Tully continued to be a powerful and influential force in the Riverlands. They were renowned for their prowess as warriors and their skill as diplomats, and they often acted as mediators and peacemakers in disputes between other noble houses.

During Robert's Rebellion, House Tully initially remained neutral, but after the Battle of the Trident, Lord Hoster Tully allied with the rebels and helped secure the Iron Throne for Robert Baratheon. Following Robert's coronation, Hoster Tully's daughter, Catelyn, married Eddard Stark of Winterfell, cementing a powerful alliance between the two houses.

During the War of the Five Kings, House Tully was once again thrust into the spotlight. Catelyn's son, Robb Stark, declared himself King in the North and formed an alliance with House Tully. They fought bravely against the Lannisters and their allies, but ultimately suffered a devastating defeat at the Red Wedding. Many of the Tullys were killed or captured, and their lands and titles were granted to other noble houses.

Although House Tully has experienced considerable adversity, they continue to have members who have survived, such as Edmure Tully, his wife Roslin Frey, and their son. They have a profound sense of pride and nobility, and they are resolute in their pursuit of reclaiming their former power and dignity, as well as restoring their family's honor.
